Pros and cons of Starry - Stars, Astronomy and Planets Guide app for iPhone and iPad
Starry - Stars, Astronomy and Planets Guide app good for
Nice graphics, usefull information - but about 40 degrees off target. Calibration not working?
Compass 360* intergration. Aim N view. Detailed target info. Night vision maps. Just works well.
Was crashing without even opening since the ios6 update was released before ios6 itself was released but now that I have it the app works great, just like it used to.
Some bad moments
Hello Dear Administrator of Starry;
I bought this App. And I upleated yesterday after that I am not see stars any thing. Please help me
Best regards
Abdullah from Turkey
Aside from not knowing how to search for things, this app is really cool. It labels everything, shows orbits, and much more.
Best app I have found! When you get the hang of it this app works great by just moving your phone look anywhere. Look down and find the sun on the other side of the Earth. And does not lag. Five stars!!
Where is the tutorial? Even though I put in the correct Longitude and Latitude, this app thinks Im on the other side of the world. The sun is in the sky not on the ground.
I think this app is perfect for astronomers of all ages.there is only 3 rivals to starry I can think of : starwalk, redshift and APOD. Good app overall.happy stargazing!,
The astronomer
Really like the app; the problem I have is that the direction (N, S, E, W) is not always pointing the correct direction. If this can be corrected, I would give the app a 5* rating. If anyone has a solution, please post. Thanks!
